The thyssenkrupp Momentum is thyssenkrupp's current mid-high rise traction elevator. thyssenkrupp makes the Momentum Standard Series and Momentum Performance Series. This model can be found at One World Trade Center in New York, NY, with Destination Dispatch. The Momentum was made from 2012/2013 to present.


The ThyssenKrupp Momentum is a high-rise traction elevator. The model is "Momentum Series Name Capacity". For Momentum Standard Series, there is also the model 5000H, which has a few different measurements (example: "Momentum Performance Series 3500").

  • 200?/350/500 FPM for Momentum Standard Series, 500?/700/800?/1000/1200+ FPM for Momentum Performance Series.
  • 2100/2500/3000/3500/4000/4500/5000 lbs. capacities for Momentum Standard Series, 2500/3000/3500/4000+ lbs. capacities for Momentum Performance Series.
  • Single slide door for Momentum Standard Series 2100, single slide?/center open? doors for Momentum Standard Series 2500/3000/3500/4000, single slide?/two speed side/center opening? for Momentum Standard Series 4500/5000/5000H, single slide?/center opening doors for Momentum Performance Series.
  • Can be a single elevator, or a bank of up to 8.
