- This article is about the Spanish version of thyssenkrupp Synergy elevator model. For the main model, refer to thyssenkrupp Synergy.
The Spanish version of thyssenkrupp's Synergy machine room less elevator was produced by ThyssenKrupp Elevator Manufacturing Spain in Spain from the 2000s until around the 2010s, mainly for the Spanish market.
Description[]
The Spanish Synergy elevator is similar to the European/German Synergy version, but features a shaft pit and different interior and fixtures design. It was designed for low to mid rise residential and commercial buildings with up to 16 or 21 floors. The model was manufactured in Spain by ThyssenKrupp Elevator Manufacturing Spain (the Spanish subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Elevator) and was mainly sold in its native land Spain, although it was also sold in other countries and even other continents such as Central America (Mexico is an example) and Africa (one installation is known to exist in Cape Verde).
The model was made from the 2000s until around the 2010s (exact year is not known but there are installations which dates from 2015). It was discontinued and succeeded by the synergy 100/200/300 models, which are the current synergy models sold in Europe.

Car interior designs[]
There are two types of car interior designs for the Spanish Synergy elevator. The first one is Millennium Classic featuring horizontal wall lines, car station and lights. The car station is a horizontal panel that stretches the whole car length with the buttons arranged horizontally; this is meant to comply with EN81-70 requirements and to make disabled people easier to operate the buttons. An LCD floor indicator is located on the top corner of the wall close to the car door. The capacity label is on the other side (close to the ear wall). Wall materials could be stainless steel, solid color or wood panels.
The second type is S1, featuring five solid colors and modular car station with a ceiling light attached to it. The car station can be vertical, inverted T-shaped or L-shaped. S1 became available in 2010-2011. It was designed by Vicente Porres, and was awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum Good Design Award 2010.
