ThyssenKrupp Dongyang (Korean: 티센크루프동양엘리베이터㈜) was the merging company between Dong Yang and thyssenkrupp. It was formed in October 2003 when thyssenkrupp bought Dong Yang elevator. The company was renamed into thyssenkrupp Elevator (Korea) Ltd. in August 2008.

List of elevator models

DY series

The DY series was originally a series of elevator models produced by Dong Yang which were then continued to be produced by ThyssenKrupp Dongyang after the merger. It was discontinued in late 2007 and replaced by the TK series. For more details, refer to this article.

TK series

The TK series was a series of elevator models developed by ThyssenKrupp Dongyang in 2006. It officially replaced the DY series in late 2007.

  • TK-20B: Launched in 2006 as the first model of the TK series. It is a model that combines the DY20B model with ThyssenKrupp's TAC control system.
  • TK-30A: Launched in 2006 as the second model of the TK series. It is a model that combines the DY30A model with ThyssenKrupp's TAC control system.
  • TK-50G: A low-end geared model with worm gear machine. It was launched in 2006.
  • TK-51G: A low-end geared model that was designed for replacement of older elevators. It is known as "ELEXESS1".
  • TK-55G: Bed and freight elevator version of TK-50G. Launched in 2006 and still available as of today.
  • TK50K: Passenger elevator model with helical gear.
  • TK50M: A machine room less model.
  • TK50R: A rare model that is said to be a cost-effective version of TK-50G.
  • TK-50P: Low-speed gearless elevator model for low to mid rise buildings. Launched in 2007.
  • TK-50L: High speed elevator for high rise buildings. It was initially known as Elejet and since 2019 it is known as zeta300.
  • Thyssocontrol Multican (TCM-MC1): Ultra high speed elevator model. It can also be used in ThyssenKrupp TWIN.
