Thai Lift Industries (Thai: ไทย ลิฟท์ อินดัสเทรียส์ พับบลิก จำกัด, better known by its trademark brand THYMAN) was an elevator company based in Bangkok, Thailand. It manufactured elevators as well as dumbwaiters under the brand name THYMAN.
History
Thyman was incorporated in 1977[1] and was managed by Thai Management. It was the first Thai elevator manufacturer when it was established. In 1992, the company was listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand and in 1993, they began distributing Kone elevators in Thailand.
In 2005, the company was acquired by Kone as a major shareholder, and after that the company was known as Kone Thai Lift Industries PLC but later changed name to Kone Public Company Limited after it became wholly owned by KONE Corporation of Finland.
