Spencer Elevator Co. was an elevator company based in San Francisco, California. They likely had a factory, and may have manufactured some of the parts used in their elevators. The company is likely named after Frank M. Spencer, who may have been the founder of the company. It appears that Spencer installed some Westinghouse elevators, some Gurney elevators, and likely also some of their own elevators. The company was founded no later than 1911. In 1932, Spencer was bought by Westinghouse.
