Not to be confused with a Schindler 700.

The Schindler 7000 is the current elevator model of Schindler for high rise buildings.

Overview[]

Schindler 7000 is a high speed elevator model for high rise buildings. It is available as single or double deck configurations, and can support Miconic 10 and SchindlerID (for older installations), and the PORT Technology destination dispatch system. They can run up to 10 m/s and the limit on how high the Schindler 7000 elevators can go is 500 meters. The door operator and shaft door component are either supplied by Sematic Group or Wittur Group. Schindler 7000 was launched in 2006 as a successor of Schindler 700. It is available for all markets around the world.

Starting 2024, Schindler introduced designations 70 Plus[1] and 700 Plus[2] (not to be confused with 7000's predecessor model, Schindler 700) for high-rise elevator upgrade packages, primarily destined for existing Schindler 700 and older Schindler 7000 installations, making them similar to a brand-new Schindler 7000 elevator with all the additional new features that have been added since its 2006 launch.
