Schindler 60, 70 and 80 was a series of specialized elevator manufactured by Schindler for transporting freights/goods. They have since been succeeded by the Schindler 2400, 2500 and 2600 which were launched in 2005.
Description[]
Schindler 60, 70, 80 are different from Schindler's other elevator models designed for passengers. They are customized elevator models for high requirements and heavy duty usage (hence they were categorized as "Custom" models on Schindler's older websites). Schindler 60 is a service elevator model for transporting freights and shopping carts in commercial buildings, shopping centers, industrial buildings and warehouses. Schindler 70 is a bed elevator model for transporting stretchers in hospitals and medical centers. Schindler 80 is a heavy duty freight elevator model for transporting freights in factories, industrial buildings, warehouses and also shopping centers. It was also capable of transporting vehicle.
The three models were mainly sold in Europe. In Asia Pacific, only the Schindler 80 was sold in the region, through Jardine Schindler Group. They were discontinued in 2005 when the Schindler 2400, 2500 and 2600 were launched.
