Schindler 500 P was an elevator model made by Swiss elevator manufacturer Schindler that was part of their Schindler 500 series. It was launched in 2000.

Description[]

Schindler 500 P is a variant of Schindler 500 designed for the Asia Pacific markets, including Australia and New Zealand. It is a gearless traction model for high end mid to high rise residential, commercial, hotels and office buildings with up to 63 floors. It was manufactured by Schindler (China) Elevator in China. In Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries, the model was sold by Jardine Schindler Group. It was, however, not sold in Japan.

The model was launched in 2000 along with the European variant (Schindler 500). It was discontinued in the late 2000s and was succeeded by the Schindler 5400 AP.

    • D-Line or M-Line buttons with M-Line or Vander LED dot matrix floor indicators (for Asia Pacific and Europe)
    • Non-proprietary (such as Dewhurst) or other custom fixtures
  • Up to 8 elevator cars in a group
  • Center opening doors (2 panels)
  • Can be combined with Schindler Miconic 10 or SchindlerID destination dispatch as an option to improve building traffic
