Schindler 100P was a model of machine room less elevator of Schindler available for the Asia Pacific and selected markets. Launched in 2000[1][2], it was part of the Schindler 100 product line.
Description[]
Schindler 100P is a machine room less gearless traction elevator model designed for low to mid rise residential and small commercial buildings. The model was launched in 2000 and was discontinued in between late 2000s or early 2010s. It has similar specifications and designs with the Schindler Elegant model. This model was known to sold in selected Southeast Asian countries, New Zealand[3], India[4], Lebanon, South Africa[5] and possibly other countries. In Australia, this model is not sold there. It is believed that the model was discontinued in Southeast Asia a few years later in favor of the Schindler Elegant MRL model.
The difference between this model and the Schindler Elegant model, is that the maximum number of persons fit for the 1000 kilograms maximum capacity is 13 and 15 respectively (12 and 13 persons respectively for 900 kilograms capacity).
Designs and fixtures[]
Schindler 100 P shares the same design with the Schindler Elegant elevators, with basic car interior options catering for the need of low to mid rise residential and basic commercial buildings. The car walls could be finished with four different colors of powder coated paint, three different decorative laminate sheets or stainless steel. Flooring uses rubber (dark or light grey). Four designs of ceiling were available, with three of them are of the same design used in the Schindler 300 P and 500 P and the other one is a standard ceiling with only a painted base, a single rectangular light and a ventilation fan.
E-Type is the standard fixtures set used in the Schindler 100 P elevators.
