Schaefer GmbH is a German elevator component company that provides elevator components, mainly push buttons and elevator fixtures. It has three subsidiaries located in Italy, Spain, and Canada.

History

Schaefer was founded by engineer Wolfgang Schäfer in 1964 and at the same year the company produced their own elevator push buttons, the LT 18 series. In 1981, Werner Köpff began working at Schäfer and two years later the individual company was transformed into Ing. Wolfgang Schaefer GmbH.
