- Not to be confused with Otis 2000 VF.
The Otis 200VF is a model of elevator exclusive to India. Introduced in 2003, it is likely a replacement for the Otis 2001. Though the Otis 200VF was made for the Indian market, a few do exist outside India as well[1]. It is unknown if the 200VF was ever discontinued. It seems to have been repackaged into the Otis 200M model currently offered by Otis in India as a modernization solution for older two-speed elevators with automatic doors.
Most 200VF and 200M installations, used the AK10 "Asian Lexan" series of buttons, albeit with a slightly different font (though some early Otis 200VF models seem to use the Series 1 fixtures.). Another choice of buttons was a silver barrel-shaped button[2]. Some later models used the BR27A concave buttons often found on Asian Otis elevators. Voice announcements were also available as an option.
