This is a guide to elevator fixtures used in Shanghai Mitsubishi elevators. Most fixtures used in Shanghai Mitsubishi elevators are almost similar to the normal Mitsubishi elevator fixtures.

1990s

Traditional (2nd Generation)

Many early Shanghai Mitsubishi elevators in the 1990s were using Mitsubishi's second generation Traditional fixtures. These fixtures have black square buttons with amber lamp. Floor indicators are digital segments.

2000s to present

Traditional (Shanghai Mitsubishi)

These fixtures have black plastic square buttons with amber illuminating lamp. Floor indicators are Mitsubishi-style LED dot-matrix display.

Traditional (4th generation)

Some elevators in the mid-2000s are also using Mitsubishi's Second Generation Traditional fixtures. Some elevators using this fixtures may have a digital segmented floor indicator with flickering arrows (red for up and green for down).

New Modern

First generation

Many newer Shanghai Mitsubishi elevators were using Mitsubishi's New Modern fixtures with black plastic barrel-shaped buttons and LED dot-matrix floor indicators.

Second generation

These fixtures have round buttons with amber illuminating halo and white collar, and Mitsubishi-style LED dot-matrix floor indicator display with scrolling arrow. Another version of floor indicators are using large mirror faceplate with scrolling arrows and a slightly different LED dot-matrix font.
