For the elevators that were manufactured by LG-OTIS or Otis Elevator Korea and sold in overseas markets, please refer to Sigma (company).

LG-OTIS Elevator Company (later OTIS-LG Elevator Company then Otis Elevator Korea) was an elevator company from South Korea that was formed after Otis Elevator Company acquired LG Industrial Systems in 1999, a division of LG Group that manufactured elevators, escalators and moving walks.

The company was established in 2000 as LG-OTIS before it changed mame to OTIS-LG Elevator Company in 2003. In 2006, it became Otis Elevator Korea (OEK) until now[1].

List of elevator models

LG-OTIS carried on the production of the Distributed Inverter (Di) series elevators after the acquisition. Di was originally a product of LG Industrial Systems which was launched in 1997 as a successor of LG's L, M and H series.

  • Di1: For low to mid rise buildings, the most common model.
  • Di2: A slightly extended version of Di1 with higher capacity and speed range.
  • Ds4: High speed model for mid to high rise buildings. Until 2003, it was known as Di4.
  • Di5: High speed model for high rise buildings.

LG-OTIS also produced Si1, a high end/premium version of Di1 which was launched in 1999 just before LG was acquired by Otis. It was mostly sold in South Korea.
