Kone TranSys is Kone's machine room less freight and service elevator model.
Overview[]
Kone Transys was launched in 2000[1] as the first machine room less freight elevator in the world. Based on the Kone MonoSpace, the TranSys is mainly used for industrial buildings and warehouses although it can also be used in shopping centers, convention centers, airports, intercity railway stations and hospitals. It is powered by the revolutionary Kone EcoDisc gearless hoisting machine. This elevator model can carry a load up to 4000 (for Asia Pacific) and 5000 (for Europe) kilograms. All of those are using 4:1 roping. It is also possible to transport vehicles for parking decks, though this may not be possible in Asia Pacific.
In the United Kingdom, TranSys was marketed as Kone MonoGoods[2].
On November 29, 2019, Kone announced a successor of original MonoSpace, MiniSpace and TranSys elevator products, named DX class elevators[3]. A version that is a successor of classic TranSys/MonoGoods is named Kone TranSys DX and at launch is available in selected European countries, followed by Asia Pacific in 2021. For successor, the British name MonoGoods seems to be discontinued.
