Indolift was an elevator company in Indonesia. They made both traction and hydraulic elevators.

History

Indolift was established sometime in the 1980s. In 1994, Kone established a joint venture with Indolift as a mean of entering the Indonesian market. They owned a 46% shareholding in the joint venture, and a year later the joint venture was 100% acquired by Kone, which formed PT. Kone Indo Elevator[1]. During this time, some late models of Indolift elevators were based on Kone's features, such as having Kone-style floor indicator arrows and even Kone's M-Series chimes[2], except button fixtures which were made by Indolift themselves. Some were even branded as KONE instead of Indolift. In the end, the remaining shareholder of Indolift was absorbed by Kone, and PT. Kone Indo Elevator was born as the sole agent of Kone elevators and escalators in Indonesia.
