FIBEE, also known as Destination Floor Reservation System (DFRS), is a destination dispatch elevator system of Hitachi.

Description[]

FIBEE is just like any other destination dispatch systems. It dispatches elevator cars to floors with the heaviest traffic congestion in peak hours throughout the day based on daily elevator usage data the system is "learning". Hitachi claims that the system can improve handling capacity up to 50% and can save power consumption up to 10% with energy saving feature compared to a conventional elevator system.

The configuration can be either Hybrid or Full. Hybrid configuration means that destination panels are only installed in certain floors with heavy traffic (such as the main lobby) and floor buttons are available inside the elevators. Full configuration means that destination panels are installed in all floors and there are no visible floor buttons inside the elevators apart from door control and alarm buttons.

FIBEE is currently available as an optional feature for Hitachi VFI-II, UAG-SN1 MRL, OUG-ON1 MRL, High Speed elevators (HVF3), Ultra High Speed elevators (UVF) and also Chinese models, e.g. LCA, MCA, GS-3C and HCA. But it does not available in the HGP-S model.
