Hissmekano AB is a Swedish company that manufactures various elevator components and spare parts. They are also a reseller of other spare parts. If spare parts are no longer avaiable, Hissmekano will manufacture those spare parts to prolong an elevator's life. Most of the time however, most parts are being replaced by generic components, most commonly made from Hissmekano. The company was founded in 1938 by Samuel Thalin as Stockholm Hissservice, and is now based in Täby, Sweden. It also has a subsidiary in Latvia.
