Grupo Excelsior (also known as Ascensores Excelsior) is a Spanish manufacturer of elevators, home elevators, stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, and freight elevators. It is based in Madrid, Spain, with its factory located in Yeles, Toledo, Spain.
History
The company was founded in 1923 by D. William Fabian Fischer, a German national residing in Spain. In March 1977, Ascensores Excelsior was established as an unlimited company and in October 2010 it became a limited company.
Locations
In Spain, Excelsior mainly has offices in Madrid. Its factory is located in Yeles, Toledo. Excelsior also has overseas offices in Algeria, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru. It also has dealers/distributors located in over 30 countries.
