The GoldStar M series refers to a series of mid rise traction elevator models produced by GoldStar Industrial Systems (later LG Industrial Systems) of South Korea in the 1990s.

Description[]

Like the L series, the M series consists of a passenger elevator (MVP, launched in 1991), passenger/service (MVS), bed (MVB), panoramic/observation (MVO) and freight (MVF) models that based on the Hitachi YPVF and MVF. These models were designed for mid rise buildings, typically with more than 10 floors but not more than around 20 floors; the maximum amount of floors these models could serve is unknown. They were commonly used in hotels, office, commercial and residential buildings. All of these models were discontinued in 1999 and succeeded by the Distributed Inverter (Di) models.

MGP/S/O/B[]

In 1996, LG Industrial Systems launched an improved version of the MVP/S/O/B models, known as the MGP/MGS/MGO/MGB models. A button beep has been added and floor cancel feature was available as an option. These models were available until 2001.
