The Talon was a traction elevator system of the Japanese elevator manufacturer Fujitec. Manufactured by Fujitec's North American subsidiary Fujitec America, it was only sold in the United States and Canada.
Description[]
Talon is a traction elevator model which can be a machine room less model or a conventional model with a machine room above the shaft(s) that is roughly the same size as the shaft(s). It uses a gearless machine of the same name which was jointly developed by Fujitec Japan, Fujitec Singapore, Fujitec America and Fujitec World Headquarters's R&D division in 2002. The elevator could be a passenger or service type, and it was designed for buildings with up to 24 floors. This model has been discontinued and succeeded by the Viridian MRL, Fujitec America's current MRL model.
