Models
Schindler 300
Launched in 1993[1], this was the main model sold in Europe. It received the iF Design Award in 1994[2].
Schindler 300A
- Main article: Schindler 300A
In the U.S. and Canada, Schindler 300 was known as 300A and it is a hydraulic elevator model. It is the only elevator model in the Schindler 300 lineup exclusively available with hydraulic drive.
Schindler 300L
Schindler 300L was the Latin American version of Schindler 300, which was sold in Central and South America. Very little is known about this model.
Schindler 300 P
- Main article: Schindler 300 P
Schindler 300 P was a version of Schindler 300 sold in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia[3] and New Zealand. It was intended for residential and commercial buildings up to 39 floors, and was available as a machine room less[4] or regular traction model with smaller machine room. Schindler 300 P was launched in 1999[1] and was manufactured by Schindler China.
Schindler 300 J
Schindler 300 J was the Japanese version of Schindler 300, manufactured by Schindler Elevator K.K. and only sold in Japan. It was introduced in 1997, followed by a machine room less (bottom drive) version in 2000. This particular model is considered unique because some components were not made by Schindler themselves. For examples, the doors were made by Mitsubishi Electric while the controllers were made by Fujitec (because the Schindler Miconic MX-GC did not meet the Japan elevator codes).
Schindler 300ANZ
Schindler 300ANZ was another version of Schindler 300 catered for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Not much is known about this particular model.
Known Schindler 300ANZ installations:
- Novotel Rockford (Darling Harbour), Sydney, Australia
- The Mantra, Parramatta, Sydney, Australia
