List of Shanghai Mitsubishi elevator fixtures

This is a list of Shanghai Mitsubishi elevator fixtures. Note that Shanghai Mitsubishi is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, so most of the fixtures listed in this page are based on Mitsubishi's fixtures. A few of them are basically a remake of the Mitsubishi counterparts by Shanghai Mitsubishi that are used in rebadged Mitsubishi elevators under the Shanghai Mitsubishi brand.

Late 1980s to early 1990s

These are the same set of fixtures as the one used in the late 1980s-early 1990s Mitsubishi elevators. The floor buttons are brown colored plastic with orange illumination and the floor indicators are digital 16-segments display, but there are also analog ones with printed numbers placed over a set of bulbs; these numbers lights up orange. The landing indicators uses analog display. The panels are dark brown colored resin. These fixtures are used in the Shanghai Mitsubishi SP-VF elevators.

Mid to late 1990s

In the mid 1990s, Shanghai Mitsubishi also used the same set of fixtures as the one used in Mitsubishi GPS (or GRANDEE in Japan) elevators. These fixtures consist of dark grey colored "wave style" resin panels with dark grey square plastic buttons which lights up orange when pressed, and the standard Mitsubishi LED dot matrix floor indicators. It is unknown if the flat stainless steel panels were also available. These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi GPS, GPS-IIB, GPM and possibly GPS-CR elevators.

2000s to 2010s

Fixtures used in GPS-III and GPS-IIIB elevators

These are the same set of fixtures as the one used in Mitsubishi Electric's GPS-III, GPM-III and GPX elevators from the late 1990s to mid 2000s, with square buttons that light up orange when pressed and the standard Mitsubishi LED floor indicators. These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi GPS-III and GPS-IIIB elevators. It is unknown if they were also used in other models. It is also unknown if vandal resistant buttons were also available.

Fixtures used in Shanghai Mitsubishi SG-VF elevators

The fixtures used in the Shanghai Mitsubishi SG-VF freight elevators consist of rounded square buttons with illuminating halo and character, and floor indicator with digital segments display.

Fixtures used in Shanghai Mitsubishi Elenessa elevators

These fixtures are the same as the ones used in Mitsubishi Electric's Elenessa elevators. The buttons can be a standard black barrel shaped plastic buttons or round stainless steel buttons with an illuminating tactile. Gill Sans Medium typeface is used for the button lettering, and the button for the main/ground floor protrudes and is colored green (only applicable for side mounted car station). These fixtures are exclusive to Shanghai Mitsubishi Elenessa elevators manufactured between the mid 2000s and 2010s.

Fixtures used in HOPE-II elevators

These fixtures consist of square plastic buttons which light up orange when pressed and LED floor indicators. There are two types of buttons; one is the regular size and the other one is the smaller size, the latter are normally used in high-rise installations to accommodate multiple buttons on the car station. The LED floor indicator inside the car has the same arrangement as the one used in the GPS-III/GPS-IIIB elevators, in which the arrow is positioned next to the number. These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi HOPE-II. They can also be used in Shanghai Mitsubishi LEHY-II elevators as an option. These fixtures appear to be no longer made by Shanghai Mitsubishi.

2010s to current

Fixtures used in LEHY-II elevators

These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi LEHY-II elevators. There are four types of buttons used in these fixtures. One is a round stainless steel button that is flushed and light up orange when pressed, one is a concave button with a silver frame and orange illumination, one is a convex button which made of resin and light up white when pressed, and one is a square stainless steel button which if pressed it will light up orange on the halo and white on the number or symbol. For the floor indicators, they can be a standard LED dot matrix (with a scrolling arrow on the hall stations), a black LCD display with white characters, or a black LCD display with a yellow characters.

These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi LEHY-MRL elevators.

Older batch

There are two types of buttons used in these fixtures; one is a round stainless steel button that is flushed and light up orange when pressed, and the other one is a black convex button which light up orange when pressed. Floor indicators are mostly in LED dot matrix display with a scrolling arrow, but there is also LCD display as an option.

Newer batch

In the mid 2010s, the LEHY-MRL elevators received a newly redesigned fixtures set. These includes six new button types:

• A11: 35mm diameter round stainless steel buttons with illuminating number and halo.
• A01: 31mm diameter round stainless steel buttons with illuminating number and halo.
• A09: Round stainless steel buttons with illuminating number (light up orange when pressed)
• B02: Round resin buttons which light up orange entirely when pressed.
• A23: Round touch sensitive buttons which light up blue and white when touched.
• D01: Square patterned resin buttons which light up white when pressed.

The floor indicators can be a standard LED dot matrix or an LCD display. The indicators on the hall stations have a scrolling arrow.

Fixtures used in LEHY-III elevators

These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi LEHY-III elevators. There are five types of buttons used in these fixtures:

• Round touch sensitive button which made of resin and light up orange when touched.
• Round stainless steel touch sensitive button which light up blue when touched.
• Black resin push button with an orange illumination.
• Concave button with a silver frame and orange illumination.
• Square patterned resin buttons which light up white when pressed.

The floor indicators can be a white or orange LED dot matrix or an LCD display

Fixtures used in LEHY-III-S elevators

The fixtures used in Shanghai Mitsubishi LEHY-III-S elevators are basically the same as the ones used in the newer LEHY-MRL elevators, but with only four types of buttons available:.

• A11: 35mm diameter round stainless steel buttons with illuminating number and halo.
• A01: 31mm diameter round stainless steel buttons with illuminating number and halo.
• A04 / A14: Same as A01 but with braille marks. A04 refers to the inside buttons while A14 refers to the landing call buttons.
• A09: Round stainless steel buttons with illuminating number (light up orange when pressed)

Fixtures used in LEHY-M, LEHY-M-II and LEHY-H elevators

These fixtures are used in Shanghai Mitsubishi LEHY-M, LEHY-M-II and LEHY-H high-rise elevators. There are three types of buttons used in these fixtures;

• Round concave buttons with a silver frame and orange illumination.
• Square patterned resin buttons with white illumination.
• Black round convex resin buttons with orange illumination and braille marks.
• Round convex resin buttons which light up white when pressed (discontinued)
• Square stainless steel button which light up blue on the halo and white on the number or symbol (discontinued)

The floor indicators can be a HD true color LED display or a multimedia-style LCD display.

Fixtures used in Elenessa elevators

These fixtures are the same as the ones used in Mitsubishi's NEXIEZ and current Elenessa models, but bears the name "Shanghai Mitsubishi" instead. The buttons are round stainless steel with an illuminating halo and tactile. The illumination color are mostly yellow orange, but there is also blue and white. These fixtures are exclusive to the newer Shanghai Mitsubishi Elenessa model produced since the 2010s.

Other fixtures

Shanghai Mitsubishi also makes another variant of fixtures which consist of square buttons that are flushed and light up orange when pressed and LED floor indicators.

It is also possible for a Shanghai Mitsubishi elevator to be fitted with non-proprietary (generic) buttons like Everbright buttons to improve accessibility. An example of this can be found in elevators installed in some pedestrian footbridges in Macau, China.
