This is a list of fixtures that are used by Express Evans (now Express Lift Co.), Otis's subsidiary/division in the United Kingdom. These fixtures are also found in elevators installed by Otis's other subsidiaries in other European countries, such as Compagnie Française d'Ascenseur/CFA (France)[1][2] Eguren Kone Ascensores (Spain), Ascensores Montes Tallon (Spain), Bruno Haack/Haack Aufzugbau (Germany)[3], etc.

1997 to current

First generation

These are the fixtures that were used in Express Evans elevators in the late 1990s, after Express Lift was acquired by Otis in 1997.[4] These fixtures have square metal buttons with clear white halo (with four red illuminating lights on the halo) and black button plates. The metal surface on the buttons are concave. Also, the button arrangement looks very similar to Otis 2000 fixtures. The button can also be a normal Otis round metal button, with black button plates. Floor indicators can be either a tall black display with red numbers and arrows, or a blue LCD screen.

In Spain, these fixtures were used by Eguren Kone Ascensores on their Electropack (traction) and Hydropack (hydraulic) machine room less elevators with "Economic Line", "Luxury Line" and "Palace" car interior designs[5][6].

Second generation

These are the fixtures used on the Express Evans "The Express Lift Range" machine room less elevators in the late 2000s to present day, which are actually based on the Otis Gen2.[7] The buttons are round stainless steel dome shaped with small orange lamp on the center. The floor buttons have grey halo, while the door control buttons have white halo and the alarm button has yellow halo. Floor indicators uses orange digital segments display.

Otis 2000 fixtures

Express Evans often uses Otis's 2000 fixtures. These fixtures are also used in Otis's other European subsidiaries; for example, both Eguren Kone and Ascensores Montes Tallon of Spain use these fixtures on their Trivium series elevators, which is basically a rebranded Otis Gen2.
