Express Lift DMR Control was an automatic programmed elevator system manufactured by The Express Lift Company under Westinghouse's patent, hence it is based on Westinghouse Selectomatic in the United States. DMR stands for "Drag Magnet Regulator". These elevators use direct current (DC) generators and can go up to 1200 FPM (round up with 6m/s), and use gearless machine - the motor is on one end and the sheave is on the other end. It is introduced in the 1960s and discontinued in 1992.

It is believed that the DMR system was produced in several versions ("marks"), with "Mark IV" or "Mk IV" being the latest known version. The Mark IV is known to use cold cathode tubes, transistors, thyristors, etc. and can be used in a group up to 8 cars.
