DAN Elevator A/S was a Danish elevator company which supplied marine passenger and freight elevators for Scandinavian cruiseferries. It was acquired by MacGregor-Navire in 1989. Most of its elevators used Kone components (doors, controllers and chimes) as well as Schaefer fixtures.

Elevator fixtures[]
Until around the early 1990s, DAN mostly used Schaefer fixtures which consist of ET 28 series touch sensitive buttons, triangle lanterns and floor indicators with straight 7-segments display. In very few ships, such as Scandlines's MS Kronprins Frederik and MS Prins Joachim, they used waterproof fixtures.
Those that were modernized by MacGregor KONE in the early 2000s received Kone's M (Mustasarja) buttons. Some elevators in some ships have also been modernized by LiftCom with Schaefer BudgetLine fixtures which consist of MT 42 series buttons, triangle lanterns and LED dot matrix floor indicators.
