AKE (stylized as a-ᴋ-e, pronounced "AH-keh") is a Turkish manufacturer of elevators, escalators and moving walkways, based in Antalya, Turkey. AKE is the largest and most well known manufacturer of elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Antalya and in Turkey, as well as AKE exports its elevators, escalators and moving walkways to 72 provinces in Turkey and 43 countries in the world.

AKE also had installed its elevators under the name ANKE (stylized as aɴᴋ-e) for a while.

AKE's slogan is #StaySafeMoveOn.

History[]

  • 1995 - AKE was established by Çetin Keskin in Antalya, Turkey.
  • 2002 - AKE opened its factory in Antalya.
  • 2003 - AKE started to manufacture elevator cabins and semi-automatic doors.
  • 2004 - AKE started to manufacture fully automatic elevator landing and cabin doors.
  • 2005 - AKE acquired Hiro-Lift (world's leading company in elevator solutions for the disabled) and started to manufacture accesibility systems for the disabled.
  • 2008 - AKE expanded its factory.
  • 2010 - AKE started to manufacture vertical type platform and platform that can go down to the pool for the disabled.
  • 2012 - AKE started to manufacture escalators and moving walkways.
  • 2017 - AKE was declared an R&D center by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.
  • 2021 - AKE founded its first subsidiary, AKE Europe.
